What is a Post Crown?
A post crown combines a dental crown with a post that extends into the root canal of the tooth.
After a root canal, if there isn't enough tooth structure left to support a crown, you'll need a post and crown. When Dr. Trinh removes the tooth's root, he will install a post to anchor the crown. Afterward, Dr. Trinh will create a crown around the post.
